The DVB-C-Modulator has one transportstream-input for connecting a multiplexor. To the multiplexor, again, up to four encoders can be connected.

The RF-Baseband output uses a carrier frequency of 3.5–70 MHz and an amplitude of 75–90 dBμV. The DVB-C-Modulator generates all prevalent combinations of transmission mode (16QAM, 32QAM, 64QAM, 128QAM and 256QAM) at the usual symbol rates of 1,000–7,000 kSymbols (adjustable in 1-KSymbol-steps).

All operating voltages are generated on the board, the input voltage range is 7–24 V. The power consumption is about 5 W.
